I rewarded myself with spare time for studying Blender after finishing Hogvalord: The Ranch. I made some simple models before but was unsatisfied with my level. This time, I set a simple goal to enhance my 3D modeling proficiency by making environmental things. My methodology was creating a model every day until I lost my interest. And when that came, I finished the clip as above.
The vegetation and scenes got inspiration from the Vietnam environment in the old ages. I aimed to display the beauty of a place surrounded by trees, rivers, and pure water sources. The clip might not show all my thoughts (due to my lack of skill), but I hope this will remind the viewers about the environmental issues and the living standard for a place worth living in. What is your choice?
Living in an area surrounded by a high density of concrete buildings, polluted places by dust from many constructions, and undrinkable water because of industrial wastes.
Or a peaceful shelter constructed of natural materials in a space full of fresh air comes from vast forests and pure water.
When we choose the second option, we should consider shifting our consumption behavior. "Do I truly need all the stuff I bought? Do they bring me inner peace or improve my physical health?" are questions for ourselves. And then we should adjust our shopping habits. A simple action helps prevent wasting the earth's resources.
After practicing Blender for a while, a feeling of confidence filled my soul. I sensed the artist's joy. That joyfulness is too simple. We only need to enjoy the creativity of the journey without caring about who is the best. To feel this joy wholly, we should protect ourselves from AI dependency. The truly creative people are the people who put a lot of effort and time into their creation and learning from others.
The AI content generation platforms aim at the people who lack patience with a big ambition. Most of them want the best result effortless. The thing only the people who invested their time and effort in practicing for years can reach. That is similar to using doping in sports. It's dangerous when we become a slave of a machine because we lose our independent thinking ability.
A good tool is a tool that can boost our production and make us smarter without the side effects.
